Subscribe NowA student at Noblesville Intermediate School is believed to have contracted the measles, Hamilton County’s Noblesville Schools system announced Monday. The student, who was not identified, has symptoms of the contagious disease but is awaiting a definitive diagnosis. More than 10 cases of the measles have been reported in Boone and Hamilton counties since an infected individual visited Indianapolis’ Super Bowl Village on Feb. 3. Health officials say vaccines are the best protection against the disease. Noblesville Schools leaders are contacting the parents of students who have not been vaccinated.
