Remember the stateroom scene from the Marx Brothers’ “A Night at the Opera,” in which a ship’s cabin was overcrowded to the point of explosion? Well, the stage of the Hilbert Circle Theatre will be close to that, as more than 200 singers of the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir meet the full force of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. The four brass bands required for the piece will have to take up temporary residence off stage. The cause for the musical excess is the conclusion of the ISC’s 75^th anniversary season. Details here.
