Man critical after jumping on car

A man was left in critical condition Thursday night after jumping on the hood of a moving car on the far north side of Indianapolis. The incident took place in the 8200 block of Township Line Road at about 10:45 p.m. Police say a 21-year-old male jumped on a 1998 Toyota Camry driven by a 19-year-old female in an effort to prevent the female from leaving. The Camry continued south on Township Line Road where police say the male either jumped from or fell off the hood and struck his head on the ground. Detectives are investigating the possibility of domestic violence in the incident. No arrests were made.
