The Bloomington Police Department arrested a man on Thursday for setting his car on fire to cover up his involvement in a hit-and-run. Police responded to reports of a vehicle fire at a home in the 3900 block of McDougal Street in Bloomington. Kyle May, 25, was charged with arson. Authorities said May set his vehicle on fire and reported it stolen in an attempt to hide his involvement with several hit-and-run collisions earlier in the day.
