Fishers police probe burglaries

Fishers police detectives are investigating a string of residential burglaries that could be connected. In a 24-hour period Tuesday, three burglaries and an attempted burglary were reported. In the successful attempts, thieves broke into homes through the front door, leaving with thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, cash and other items. The crimes occurred in the Sunblest, Avalon and Spyglass Hills neighborhoods.
