An Indianapolis firefighter was taken to a hospital early Thursday morning with second-degree steam burns to his legs after battling a house fire in the 1100 block of North Keystone Avenue. The blaze broke out just after 3 a.m. and took about 15 minutes to extinguish. The house, which had been vacant for about four months, suffered $30,000 in damage.
