A man charged Tuesday with a brutal rape at a Greenwood apartment complex was on probation for a rape conviction and had been arrested in late July for an alleged sexual assault. Shawn Corbally, 33, was preliminarily charged with three counts of rape, burglary, confinement, intimidation and residential entry. Police say Corbally was identified by a woman who was raped Sunday at Ashmore Trace apartment complex. Police said he was easy to catch because of his unique tattoos. Corbally was released from prison in February after serving roughly half of a 25-year sentence for rape. He was arrested July 21 for an alleged sexual assault at an Indianapolis apartment building but was released three days later with no charges filed.
