The Upper White River Watershed Alliance is now accepting nominations for its Upper White River Stewardship Awards Program. Winners will be recognized at the Watershed Stewardship Celebration - the culminating event of the 2012 White River Festival - on Sept. 27 at the Indiana Museum of Art. Awards will be given to those demonstrating leadership, creativity, and innovation in the realm of water resource protection within the Upper White River Watershed. Deadline for award nominations is Sept. 5 at 5 p.m. Nominations for the Event/Exhibit Category will be accepted through 5 p.m. on Sept. 15.
