Fire crews rescued three people after a suspicious blaze broke out at an apartment building Thursday about 6 a.m. on the near-northwest side of Indianapolis. The residents climbed down ladders to get down from balconies at Abington Apartments. The fire started in a first-floor stairwell. No injuries were reported.
