Body found in burning car identified

The Marion County Coroner has determined the identity of a man whose body was found inside a burning truck Monday night near 3705 N. LaSalle St. on the east side of the city. James Shaw, 23, was identified through fingerprints. The coroner ruled his death a homicide and said he died from a gunshot wound. Shaw had an arrest record that involved drugs and domestic violence. Police are investigating.
