Dangerous weather predicted for area

Severe weather could hit central Indiana late Tuesday and early Wednesday, bringing high winds, heavy rain, lightning, flash floods and possibly hail. Winds as strong as 60 mph are possible. The rain-saturated soil and high winds could cause trees to topple, leading to power outages. Temperatures are expected to hit near-record highs in the mid-60s on Tuesday afternoon before sinking dramatically Wednesday. High, frigid winds and flurries are predicted Wednesday afternoon.
