Subscribe NowThe owner of a seasonal fruit stand destroyed after an Indianapolis Power & Light truck smashed into it early Wednesday said he plans to rebuild and reopen by spring. Emergency crews were called to the 6300 block of North College Avenue about 12:25 a.m. after the truck driver apparently blacked out and drove into Johnny’s Market. Police said the driver may have had an adverse reaction to medication. He was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
