Subscribe NowAt least 26 apartment residents were displaced by a fire early Wednesday morning on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Fire crews were called to the Stratford Apartments, near West 25th Street and Georgetown Road, at about 4 a.m. Flames could be seen for blocks, and firefighters took more than 90 minutes to extinguish the blaze. At least eight of the 12 apartment units suffered extensive damage.
