Subscribe NowIndianapolis officer Daniel Slightom suffered minor injuries early Tuesday when he was dragged about 50 feet by a car driven by a fleeing suspect. Slightom pulled over Brian Henderson, 40, about 2 a.m. near West 16th Street and Lafayette Road for traffic violations. Henderson took off as the officer leaned into his vehicle, dragging him in the process. After a chase that ended in the 2400 block of Lafayette Road, Henderson was subdued with a stun gun. He faces charges of battery, fleeing arrest and possession of a controlled substance, believed to be cocaine.
