Jim Harbaugh, former Indianapolis Colts quarterback and head coach of the San Francisco 49ers, will pace the field for Sunday’s Indianapolis 500. Race officials announced Wednesday that he will lead the field of 33 cars in a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray pace car. Harbaugh is a racing fan and a principal owner of Panther Racing, which has two cars in the race. This marks a record 12th time a Corvette has served as pace car.
