An Indianapolis police officer was hurt early this morning after a traffic stop turned into a fight. According to the officer, the driver of a red Dodge Durango led him on a short chase on southbound Interstate 65. After stopping near the bridge over I-465, the driver got out and started fighting with him. The officer hurt his knee in the process. The driver faces charges including battery of an officer, a felony.
