The company said today that it also would conduct a “mass layoff” in June at its Fort Wayne machining division, which had about 150 employees in mid-2007. The company, however, did not say how many jobs would be affected.
The company makes aluminum engine parts and says the cuts are due to the downturn in the automotive industry.
The company operates two plants in Fort Wayne and one in nearby Columbia City.
