Indianapolis firefighters arrived too late Tuesday morning to save a house under construction on the corner of South East Street and East Legrande Avenue. The house was being built to replace another one that burned down a year ago. The structure was nearly complete except for siding. Firefighters are investigating the 3 a.m. blaze as arson. Damages were estimated at more than $75,000.
