A Friday morning blaze that critically injured an Indianapolis firefighter was intentionally set, fire officials say. The fire was reported about 3:15 at a vacant home in the 1500 block of Columbia Avenue on the northeast side. Firefighter Chris McGrone, 38, suffered severe smoke inhalation after his breathing mask fell off while he was fighting the blaze.
