Subscribe NowPolice arrested Brandie Thompson, 34, of Indianapolis on Thursday morning in connection with the hit-and-run death of man in a wheelchair. The victim, who was in his 70s, was crossing Washington Street west of Indianapolis Zoo about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday when he was struck by a 2006 Chrysler that left the scene. Police tracked down Thompson through the license plate number. She has a history of traffic offenses.
