Twenty-three organizations received a total of $96,959 in grants from the Johnson County Community Foundation to further their work in the community.

In Recognition
Sponsel CPA Group has been named a 2013 All-Star Firm by INSIDE Public Accounting.

Dr. Bryan Schneider, Indiana University Simon Cancer Center, was named the Vera Bradley Investigator in Oncology.

Lloyd Wright, WFYI Public Media, has been inducted into the Richard M. Fairbanks Indiana Broadcast Hall of Fame.

Mahesh Daas, Ball State University, won the Society Award of Excellence from the international Association for Computer-Aided Design in Architecture.

The Indianapolis Cultural Trail was recognized by the International Downtown Association with a Downtown Pinnacle Award.

Chris Wardrip, Financial Health Federal Credit Union, received the Professional Achievement Award; John Dierdorf, Forum Credit Union, received the Leadership Achievement Award and Sven Leander, Financial Center Federal Credit Union, and Tara Holloway, Teachers Credit Union, received 2013 Emerging Leadership Awards from the Indiana Credit Union League.

Financial Center Federal Credit Union received four first place awards from the Indiana Credit Union League for achievement in community service, philosophy in action and excellence in financial literacy.

Forum Credit Union and Indiana Members Credit Union received first place awards from the Indiana Credit Union League for community service.

Lesa F. Dietrick, Ice Miller LLP, was awarded the Allen C. Steere Award by the Governmental Affairs Society of Indiana.•

Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP was ranked in the top 10 percent of all law firms for commercial litigation in the BTI Consulting Group’s BTI Litigation Outlook 2014.
