Subscribe NowIndianapolis police took a man into custody after a shooting last night left a 7-year-old boy in serious condition. The shooting occurred in the 2400 block of West Wilkins Street, near the intersection of Morris Street and South Belmont Avenue. Police say Thomas Owens, 20, of Indianapolis admitted to shooting the boy with an assault riffle. Investigators believe Owens had been fighting with the boy’s uncle. Fox 59 will have more at 10 p.m.
