Subscribe NowA Plainfield woman was acquitted yesterday in the death of her newborn child, but the Kentucky jury convicted Katie McCoy, 20, of tampering with physical evidence. McCoy admitted she gave birth in a Bellarmine University bathroom in 2007, but said the baby was stillborn. McCoy was sentenced to two years in prison.
