The man accused of the cold case murder of a Broad Ripple woman made his first court appearance this morning. Investigators say Nathan Anderson stabbed Jane Pepper to death inside her basement apartment. According to court documents, Anderson admits entering Pepper’s apartment to commit a burglary in October 2007. He told police he panicked, stabbed Pepper in her bed and then assaulted her. Police arrested Anderson in Texas last week, after investigators say they matched his DNA to evidence found at the crime scene. Fox 59 will have more at 10 p.m.
