Police say an Indianapolis man was shot in the head in a case of mistaken identity just before midnight in the 2300 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street. Investigators say the woman who lives at that address heard someone on the porch and fired at the man because she thought he was trying to break in. The victim turned out to be her boyfriend. He is expected to recover.
