Subscribe NowState senators will review a bill today that would put new restrictions and requirements on teenage drivers. Under a bill passed yesterday by the Indiana House, a Hoosier teen could receive his or her learner’s permit six months after their 15th birthday and a full license a year later. The bill also requires teens to log 50 hours of supervised training, and bans drivers under 18 from using a cell phone while driving unless there is an emergency.
