He had led the hospital that offers addiction services since October 2012. He will be replaced on an interim basis by Barbara Elliott, Fairbanks’ chief financial officer. While the Fairbanks board searches for a new CEO, Elliott will also oversee the charter school Fairbanks operates, Hope Academy. Elliott joined Fairbanks in 2007 after previous stints at St. Vincent Health, Howard Community Hospital and what is now Anthem Blue Cross and Shield.
Heartland Neurology, a three-physician practice, has joined the St. Vincent Medical Group. The neurologists joining St. Vincent are Dr. Seth Cahn, Dr. Theodore Nukes, and Dr. Patrick Reibold. Cahn holds a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and a medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. Nukes earned his bachelor’s degree from Washington University and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. Reibold earned his bachelor’s and medical degrees from the University of Iowa.
Denny Darrow has been named director for the Indiana State Personnel Department. He was previously the deputy director and chief of staff for his predecessor, Anita Samuel . Darrow holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
