Possible plant closure threatens 153 jobs-WEB ONLY

Troy, Michigan-based Noble International Ltd. informed Indiana officials today that it will close its Butler plant north of Fort Wayne by June 20 unless a buyer for the company can be found.

The plant’s closing would result in the loss of 153 jobs.  

Noble, a supplier of steel components to the automotive industry, is struggling financially. Earlier this month, the company and a few of its subsidiaries began reorganizing operations under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
