Officials of TI Automotive say it will buy new equipment for its factory in the Wells County town of Ossian in order to meet increased demand for its plastic fuel tank and fluid-carrying systems.
Wells County economic development director Tim Ehlerding told The Journal Gazette the factory won't need an expansion to house the new equipment.
The Auburn Hills, Michigan-based company now has some 150 workers at the factory about 10 miles south of Fort Wayne.
The Ossian Town Council has approved a 10-year property tax abatement for the project.
