Keith Davis has been named the first director of Indiana University’s Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship in Biotechnology, which will help professors at IU’s Bloomington campus commercialize research discoveries. Davis was a professor at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Before that, he directed the Plant Biotechnology Center at Ohio State University, and agricultural biotechnology at Icoria Inc., which sold its agricultural division to Monsanto for $6.75 million. Davis holds a doctorate in molecular, cellular and developmental biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Dr. Andrew Sampson, an interventional cardiologist, has joined St. Vincent Medical Group in Indianapolis. Sampson earned a bachelor’s degree from Earlham College and a medical degree from Wright State Boonshoft School of Medicine.

Dr. Chanwang Park, an anesthesiologist, has joined Anesthesia Consultants of Indianapolis LLC. He earned a medical degree at Yonsei University College of Medicine in South Korea. Other anesthesiologists recently joining ACI are Dr. Julie Dunlap and Dr. Wei Shen, both of whom earned their medical degrees from the Indiana University School of Medicine.
