Health officials have confirmed that an Anderson University student has the first case of the H1N1 virus in Madison County. It was one of 13 new flu cases confirmed in the state yesterday, bringing the total to 28. Fourteen of those case have been in Marion County. The virus has also appeared in Lake, St. Joseph, Hendricks, Madison, Porter, Putnam and Tippecanoe counties.
