The Indianapolis-area housing market is marching in tune with the so-called Goldilocks economy—not too hot, not too cold, said F.C. Tucker Co. President Jim Litten. With 4.3 months of available inventory, it’s nearly a buyer’s market. But rates are likely to inch up this fall from the current 4 percent on 30-year fixed mortgages.•
