WTHR-TV returned to the Dish Network channel lineup Tuesday, ending a contract disagreement over retransmission fees that lasted more than five weeks.
Columbus, Ohio-based Dispatch Broadcast Group, which owns WTHR, said the two sides have reached a multi-year agreement that removed the blackout of the Indianapolis NBC-TV affiliate for Dish subscribers.
The agreement also returns WBNS, the CBS-TV affiliate in Columbus, to the Dish lineup.
The previous contract ended June 16.
