Hoosier soldiers departing for Iraq-WEB ONLY

This afternoon, about 160 Indiana National Guard Troops will leave Columbus and begin their journey to Iraq. The soldiers are part of the guard’s 1,313th Engineering Co. based at Camp Atterbury. The soldiers will spend time training at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin before being deployed to conduct a wide range of engineering operations in Iraq. They’ll be deployed for less than a year.
