WISH-TV Channel 8 in Indianapolis announced this morning that it has named Patti McGettigan its new news director.
McGettigan currently holds the same title at WOOD-TV Channel 8 in Grand Rapids, Mich. Both WISH and WOOD are owned by Providence, R.I.-based LIN TV Corp.
She replaces Kevin Finch, who left in June for a position with Calamari Productions LLC, a video production house with offices in Indianapolis, New York and Austin, Texas.
McGettigan will join WISH in late July.
