Police think alcohol was involved. The 18-year-old driver lost control of a sport-utility vehicle about 1 a.m. in the 7900 block of Westfield Boulevard. A male passenger was ejected from the vehicle and later died at Methodist Hospital. The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
