Southwest Conservation Club to benefit from Bees & Brew (21+) on June 9 and on June 14 at 7 p.m.at Southwest Conservation Club, 5703 Bluffton Road. Cost: $35 per person. Ticket includes DIY beeswax candle, sample of raw honey, 2 glasses of honey wine or beer on the house, light hors d’oeuvres, tour of the apiary, and bee presentation. Explore honeybees through beeswax candle making, sampling honey wine & beer, observing a hive up close through our sealed observation hive and suit-up for a live beehive presentation. The Villages to benefit from Friday Night at Victory Field on June 26. In Recognition
Bob Wagner, resident at CarDon & Associates’ Altenheim Family-first Senior Living community, received five honorary medals: Bronze Star Medal, POW Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge 1st Award and Honorable Service Lapel Button WWII.
