Then: Indiana University Health vice president of patient support services

Now: Eskenazi Health vice president

Age: 37

On her LinkedIn page, Sherron Rogers describes herself as “Builder. Connector. Transformer.” Those, she said, have been her roles throughout her career—at Cummins Inc., Indiana University Health and now at Eskenazi Health, where she’s worked since March 2016.

“I tend to get thrown complex issues or problems that people have tried to tackle and haven’t had much success in,” she said. “I get asked to transform teams and departments. I consider myself to be kind of a fixer, a problem-solver, and really enjoy being in that space.”

So when Eskenazi called, asking her to evaluate its processes to make things like patient flow and billing more efficient, Rogers decided to move.

“I had a great career at IU Health,” she said. “I could have continued a great career at IU Health. This was just an opportunity to do something on an even larger scale. I still have great support at IU Health and now I have great support at Eskenazi as well.”•
