Two Indianapolis-area insurance agencies, Ward Insurance Services and Hometown Insurance, will merge Aug. 1.
Brownsburg-based Hometown has 12 employees and Zionsville-based Ward has four employees.
After the deal closes, the Ward Insurance name will disappear, and both offices will operate as Hometown Insurance.
Hometown Insurance was established in 1918. Ward Insurance launched in 2007.•
