The Indiana Supreme Court will decide whether engineering subcontractors should be held liable for millions of dollars
in cost overruns in a recent renovation of the Indianapolis Marion County Public Library’s central branch.

The
court will hear oral arguments in the $25 million lawsuit Sept. 15. The library sued the subcontractors following $50 million
in cost overruns stemming from construction defects in the main library’s underground garage.

Boone Circuit Court
found in favor of the subcontractors, Charlier Clark & Linard PC, and the Indiana Court of Appeals upheld the decision.

The library appealed to the Indiana Supreme Court.
