‘Fast lane’ opens at Indianapolis International Airport

A system that allows travelers to register online and speed their way through Indianapolis International Airport security checks went live today. Passengers using the service fill an online form at www.flyclear.com and then continue the process at the airport by providing fingerprints, photographs and iris images.

The registered traveler program was launched in Orlando, Fla., in 2005, and now is spreading to Indianapolis, Cincinnati, San Jose, Calif., and Terminal 7 at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City.
