Eli Lilly and Co. has contracted with four companies to distribute its new line of drugs for dogs and cats.
The companies include Butler Animal Health Supply of Dublin, Ohio; MWI Veterinary Supply of Nampa, Idaho; Professional Veterinary Products Ltd., of
Indianapolis-based Lilly also said it has finished building its sales, technical and customer service organization in preparation for the introduction.
Earlier this month, the Food and Drug Administration approved a version of Lilly’s Prozac for use in dogs suffering from separation anxiety.
