Yesterday, DaimlerChrysler AG officials wouldn’t comment on a report in the German magazine Manager Magazin that the German automaker is in talks to sell its Chrysler unit to GM.
The flurry of reports comes on the heels of yesterday’s announcement that Chrysler will eliminate 2,000 white-collar and 11,000 blue-collar workers to try to restore profits.
