Reverse 911 creator bought by California firm

Sigma Communications LLC, the Indianapolis company that created the Reverse 911 emergency notification system, has been acquired by PlantCML of Temecula, Calif., for an undisclosed price. The system allows law enforcement and other public agencies to send alerts about crime, water contamination, and other issues.
