Health reform protesters targeting WellPoint meeting

A statewide coalition of 45 groups says it plans to protest what it says are “bloated administrative costs” and excessive executive salaries during WellPoint Inc.’s annual meeting May 16.

Hoosiers for a Common Sense Health Plan, which includes the United Auto Workers, Citizens Action Coalition and Sisters of Providence, wants single-payer universal health insurance.
