ExactTarget, ChaCha, Quadraspec win Mira awards

This year’s TechPoint Mira Award winners included Indianapolis-based ExactTarget, ChaCha, of Carmel, and West Lafayette life science company Quadraspec Inc.

The awards are given out annually by the not-for-profit to promote Indiana technology-based companies.

This year’s winners, announced Friday, include:

-Information Technology Company: ExactTarget, Indianapolis

-Information Technology Gazelle Company: ChaCha, Carmel

-Health & Life Sciences Company: AIT Laboratories, Indianapolis

-Health & Life Sciences Gazelle Company: Quadraspec Inc., West Lafayette

-Education Contribution to Technology-Department/Program/Team: Electronic Field Trip Program, Ball State University

-Education Contribution to Technology-Individual: David Berque, DePauw University

-Education Contribution to Technology-K-12: Stephen Joseph, Terre Haute South Vigo High School

-Innovation of the Year: Polymer Technology Systems Inc., Indianapolis

-Advanced Manufacturing Company: AccuTemp Products Inc., Fort Wayne

-Advanced Manufacturing Gazelle Company: ICx Griffin Analytical, West Lafayette

-Distribution, Transportation, Logistics Company: TransWorks, Fort Wayne

-Distribution, Transportation, Logistics Gazelle Company: Sentry Logistic Solutions Inc., Indianapolis
