DeHaven to replace Cousins at bankers group

Indiana Bankers Association CEO James H. Cousins will retire July 1, the trade group said today. Cousins will be replaced by President S. Joe DeHaven, who will add the title of CEO.

Cousins was president and CEO of the Indiana League of Savings Institutions when it merged with the Indiana Bankers Association in 2000, and he was named CEO of the combined organization six months later.

He remained CEO when the Bankers Association merged with the Community Bankers Association of Indiana in October.
