Indianapolis Department of Water requests homeowners stop watering lawns

For the first time in almost a decade, Indianapolis residents are being asked to not water their lawns. The request by the city's Department of Water comes after several days of record water use. Residents can still water flowers and gardens, but are asked to not water their lawns until next Tuesday.
