Chicago-based Select Snacks Co. Inc. has told state officials in Indianapolis that it might close its Jeffersonville plant in December. About 245 jobs are at stake, according to The Courier-Journal of Louisville.
A buyer is interested in the plant, which has been put up for sale as part of the company’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization, Select Snacks said. The company is owned by Ubiquity Brands LLC, also headquartered in Chicago.
