Fortune magazine today named WellPoint Inc. CEO Angela Braly as the fourth-most-powerful woman in business.

Braly, 46, took over from Larry Glasscock on June 1. WellPoint, with $57 billion in revenue, is the country’s largest company run by a woman.

She still ranks behind women who lead companies with a little more cultural cache: PepsiCo Inc. CEO Indra Nooyi at No. 1, Xerox Corp. CEO Anne Mulcahy at No. 2 and eBay Inc. CEO Meg Whitman at No. 3.

Indianapolis-based WellPoint is the country’s second-largest health insurance company by revenue and the largest by number of customers.
